As summer approaches, McLane is gearing up for an exciting lineup of events ranging from offshore technology to marine conservation and marine eDNA research. We want to see you: Contact us if you will be at the meeting or if you would like a visit from McLane.
Below is a preview of key events on McLane’s itinerary.
6-9 May: Offshore Technology Conference – Houston, TX
Kicking off pre-summer plans is OTC in Houston, Texas. OTC is the premier gathering for professionals in the offshore energy industry, providing a platform for showcasing cutting-edge technology, fostering collaborations, and addressing challenges in the sector.
14-16 May: SCCOS – CeNCOOS – CalCOFI – San Diego, CA, & 20-23 May: Buoy Workshop (Booth 4) – Sequim, WA
Our next stop is the SCCOS – CeNCOOS – CalCOFI event in San Diego, California, followed by the Buoy Workshop where McLane will be at Booth 4 in Sequim, Washington. These gatherings focus on coastal monitoring, oceanographic research, and buoy technology.
3-5 June: 3rd National Workshop on Marine eDNA – Laurel, MD & Washington, D.C.
4-6 June Capitol Hill Ocean Week– Washington, D.C.
H2O – Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
Moving eastward, McLane will be participating in concurrent meetings in Washington, D.C.: the 3rd National Workshop on Marine eDNA and Capitol Hill Ocean Week. Marine eDNA (environmental DNA) is revolutionizing marine biodiversity monitoring by enabling researchers to detect species presence through DNA traces in seawater. Also June 3-5, heading north to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, McLane Sales Rep Romor will participate in H2O, a prominent event focusing on ocean science, technology, and policy.
13-14 June: International Workshop on Environmental Genomics (IWEG) – St. John’s Newfoundland, Canada
Rounding off our pre-summer plans is the International Workshop on Environmental Genomics (IWEG) in St. John’s Newfoundland, Canada. IWEG joins experts from around the world to discuss recent advances in environmental genomics and its applications in biodiversity research, ecosystem monitoring, and conservation.
By actively participating in these workshops and conferences, McLane looks forward to meeting researchers at the forefront of technological advancements and global challenges in offshore energy, marine conservation, and environmental science.
