Note: Windows users may receive a software alert during McLaneTerm installation. Proceed as usual to bypass this alert and install the program.

Troubleshooting USB to RS-232 Adapter that connects the computer with your McLane instrument:

Depending on the OS, some Windows PCs do not recognize the USB to RS-232 adapter (included in the instrument toolkit) that connects the computer with your McLane instrument. Download the file Windows Driver FTDI USB to RS232 .ZIP below to fix this. When complete, a new COM port will be available.

Review the Read Me and Technical Service Bulletin.
Run the file CDM21228_Setup.exe before plugging in the USB to RS-232 converter on your computer.
