McLane is excited to announce its upcoming participation at Oceans 23, Biloxi, MS. The premier marine science and technology conference is taking place this year along the picturesque Gulf Coast from September 25 to 28, 2023. In Booth 410, McLane will showcase its new eDNA sampler, the Robotic Cartridge Sampling Instrument (RoCSI), and other instruments from the company’s profiler and sampler product lines.
McLane and the National Oceanography Centre (NOC) Southampton, UK, entered into a 2023 RoCSI technology transfer partnership, and McLane is now the commercial manufacturer of the innovative eDNA sampler. RoCSI performs high-count in situ sample collection down to 6,000 m. Another robotic technology transfer sampler, the Imaging FlowCytobot (IFCB), will be on display in Booth 410. McLane has been commercially manufacturing the IFCB since a 2019 technology transfer with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI). IFCB is an in-situ automated submersible imaging flow cytometer that uses a combination of flow cytometric and video technology to capture high resolution images of suspended particles taken in-flow.
McLane’s experts will showcase these instruments, engage with fellow attendees, and exchange insights on how their instruments perform precise sample and data collection in the most challenging marine environments.
