MMPs and other Ocean Observatories Initiative (OOI) Pioneer Coastal Array instruments were deployed for the last time in April by the Pioneer 18 Array team and R/V Armstrong crew.
The Pioneer Coastal Array (located at the New England Shelf) began collecting data in 2016, and the dynamic region will provide data for studies of frontal dynamics and related ecosystems, long after the location is discontinued. Instruments will be recovered in November and re-deployed in 2024 in the Southern Mid-Atlantic Bight.

OOI ocean observing data is available from the Coastal Pioneer Array and other sites from the OOI Data Explorer.
