Battery Replacement with Drop-in Battery Holder

The RAS has a drop-in battery holder for user replaceable 'D' cell alkaline batteries. Correct battery orientation is critical when using the drop-in battery holder.

The instructional video "Alkaline Battery Replacement" provides the steps to install customer replaceable alkaline batteries in the WTS-LV (standard model), RAS or PPS battery holder.

RAS-500 Pre-deployment and priming

In this video, we review pre-deployment procedures and priming on the RAS-500.

Note:  The RAS priming process shown in this video has been modified. Rather than injecting water through the exhaust tube to get the pump going in reverse, we now recommend elevating the reservoir (bucket, container, etc) of your priming water.
